Association of Bristish Investigators
Association of British Investigators (ABI) which is currently held by the Managing Director of Howes Bailiffs is the longest established organisation representing professional Private Investigators in the UK. Members are admitted only after stringent vetting. Members must conduct their business in a professional manner and by complying with a strict code of ethics with disciplinary procedures in place to monitor any transgressors.
Civil Enforcement Association
The Civil Enforcement Association, was created by merging the 'Association of Civil Enforcement Agencies (ACEA)' and 'The Enforcement Services Association (Certificated Bailiffs Association)' with the later being formed in 1906 to provide a central organisation for certificated bailiffs and civil law enforcement agents and to promote ethical and professional conduct among members. The Association is a member of the Civil Court Users Association (CCUA) and the Joint Security Industry Council (JSIC). The Association represents its members and the profession in consultation with UK central Government and organisations such as the Institute of Rating Revenues & Valuation (IRRV), Money Advice Liaison Group (MALG). On 26th January 2011 the members of both the Enforcement Services Association (ESA) and the Association of Civil Enforcement Agencies (ACEA) voted overwhelmingly in favour of a merger into one association. The new association will be called the Civil Enforcement Association
ISO 9001 Acreditation
Howes Bailiffs are pleased to announce that as of 8th December 2011 we are now an ISO 9001 certified company. We have been assesed for conformance to the requirement of BS EN ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and were successful in meeting all aspects of the necassary requirements.
